My main reason for trying my hand at old fashioned animation is to capture that human realness, and I was debating whether film was part of that look but I realize the camera itself is more capturing information than actually getting the human aspect into it (which comes from the camera work, lighting setup, analog errors on the cels, etc.); it's akin to digital vs analog music production as I see it, as opposed to synthesized sounds vs real instrument sounds (which is more like the actual digital vs analog drawing), if that makes sense
For example, I dunno specifically whether this cel was photographed digitally or on film or not, but you can really feel the human quality to it regardless of the camera
