>>3984922Like I said if you like that hefty metal construction and liked the (non)-ergonomics of the ef you might like the FtB aswell! Get them while they are still dirt cheap. They too only have a microprism focusing screen though.
I do in fact also own an om2 and can tell you that the viewfinder of the A1 is a bit smaller and not as bright. But my om2 is unrivaled in these regards anyways. In the end I'd say go for the A1 if you can pick up one for a decent price. Check if it has that ugly shutter squeek - that's a common problem you can easily fix though.
