>>3299176This one was shot on 8mm fisheye i've borrowed. Smoothness comes from pretty much zero delay between shots, as the first exposure ends, next one begins. This one got foggy pretty quick so it's a bad one as well (also because bright moon right in front of lens, cool shadows though), but you can see that there is no annoying noise despite high iso - because blue bright sky gives a signal to sensor, so it's more difficult to see the noise.
So, those are things i've figured out during having some night fun when i still had enough free time. As little time between frames, cranking iso higher up is usually a good idea despite extra noise, and it's important to pick a night with a little bit of moon so sky won't be perfectly black. People with better sensors could probably shoot clear moonless black sky with those cool high-contrast milky way shapes, but if you don't have this kind of camera, this is the way to shoot something that looks alright.
