So Ive heard shooting in RAW is supposedly 'better' than shooting in JPEG, so I decided to try it out. I changed the settings on my Canon EOS M3 so it now takes pictures in RAW format. I took some pictures with it and I ran into some things while I was looking at them in Lightroom.
First off, the pictures were incredibly fucking grainy. You can say it basically ruined all the photos.
Secondly, the file size of the raw image was about 30MB, but when I exported one of the pictures after editing it in Lightroom, the jpeg it puts out was like 500kb.
What did I do wrong?
