I guess I'll give my process:
I usually first crop and get rid of basecurve (by turning it off, because then I can copy and apply the settings to other images as well), then I increase contrast to 0.10-0.20 and go into tone curves. The tonecurve in the image is very typical of what I do, it increases contrast and sets a certain black level that isn't crushed.
Then I tinker with the temperature and tint curves as well to increase colour contrast and shift the tone of the entire image if needed, add velvia, fiddle with colour zones (most commonly just using the "natural skintones" preset) and profile denoise. the last step is reducing saturation to around -0.15. i dont like oversaturated images. This process goes for around 90% of my images.
Local contrast I most commonly use with buildings or objects. i usually don't like how it highlights wrinkles in people.
