>>4051884Two things, the most important one is to have a girlfriend. Women find that out and already do not see you as just some giga-creep trying to use their camera to bang them. Even Helmut Newton had a wife, how else do you think he was able to make all those amazing pictures in the 60's before the advent of social media. It's not required but it's basically a life-hack when it comes to photographing women. If you don't have a girlfriend, convince one of your female friends to be your wingman, have her hold reflectors or carry a small bag of equipment.
Second, shoot film. I mean, bring your digital setup, but bring film too. Giga-creeps aren't going to spend money on a film camera in 2022 and go through all the shit of developing film especially something cantankerous like 6x7 or 4x5 just to get some creep shots of naked girls. Young girls love vintage shit, it's a fact.
Another one is confidence. It's a two way street, not just for women. Women like a confident man in all aspects of life and this stretches into photography.
I've never once used any websites, ModelMayhem, none of that shit. Most of my work are friends or people I meet. This was a lady I worked with. I've also posted work I've shot of people and had other people contact me after seeing it wanting their pictures done too.
Most of the time I do TFP I rarely get paid for this, I don't do it for the money though. I'm just a hobbyist.
