>>2865705i just switched from a D90 with a great kit (17-50mm 2.8, 35mm 1.8, 50mm 1.4) to an xt10 with one lens (23mm 1.4) and im in love
controls take some getting used to, but it's a great camera. so fun to use, and small enough to fit in a messenger bag so i take it everywhere with me now.
your tradeoff is PORTABILITY and UNOBTRUSIVENESS (fuji draws less attention out in public) vs better AF, video, and ability to edit raw files without being choosy for editors. (see my thread about raf editors)
Lens price/quality is not a concern, both fuji and nikon have great glass at comparable prices.
I have found that the artistic freedom of always having your camera outweighs the negatives. i could nit take my nikon system everywhere because it was too bulky. now i get more opportunities to practice and my photos are getting better.
both cameras i have owned still OUTRESOLVE MY ARTISTIC ABILITIES. Because of this my pictures would not look any better from an a7ii than they do now. Depending on what type of stuff you shoot i think you might find the same is true for you.
ill also say im still in the honeymoon phase w my fujifilm camera. Nikon also has a great system
stop gearwhoring and take some pics imo
