What's the best raw editing software out there at a decent budget that isn't Lightroom (and isn't an open source passion project with a UI designed by an amateur).
I ask because I've been using Olympus Workspace for some time now, and while it's pretty good at getting the results I want from it 90% of the time, it's also... not the best at some other images. Some images make it crash with an "unexpected error" window and then it just... idk...
I tried RawTherapee and it just sucks ass.
Then I tried the DxO Photolab free trial and... hmm... not bad. The UI is less intuitive than Olympus Workspace, and one thing I do really like about Olympus Workspace is how it pulls all the camera settings (complete with the same UI symbols) and just makes sense. But then I tried it out on an image that is just utter shit.
