>>4031867>And your sample is perfect example that MFT lens is SHARPER! I don't know which lens is sharper in this test. I've never tested or looked up the MTF curves for either. The point is that THEY ARE DIFFERENT LENSES. Even if the mft lens is sharper here, that does not mean all mft lenses are sharper. Only an idiot would think that it does.
Further more, we don't know what processing has gone into the pixel shifted output as a pixel shifted RAW is inevitably a computed result and NOT a straight read off the sensor. AND vibration could be at play. At least one person has found that fucking building sway, imperceptible to a person, is enough to throw off pixel shifted results.
This comparison does not control for ANY of those factors. So it's useless for judging whether or not format impacts sharpness. You cannot judge factor x with a test that involves variable x, y, z, a, and b factors. That you keep doing these things mean you need to answer this anon:
>>4031860 Do you even remember middle school science class?
The other anon has posted numerous TDP samples which DO control for or eliminate all factors but one. DPReview always uses different lenses for testing, but let's at least eliminate pixel shift processing/vibration and MP as factors. What do we find?
>hint: the ff is sharper
