>>4024033£60 gives you a 5L fuji hunt kit, each litre can do 16 rolls of film so you can get about 80 rolls total. Works out to about 75p per roll.
you can indeed split up the batches, when unmixed and chilled it lasts a long while but obviously when mixed it's best to use within a month. I shoot enough that if I save up film for a month or two I can use 1L up within a few hours rather than trying to preserve the chemistry.
I did some quick sums and even if I home brew all of ECN2 by scratch it'll be like 80p per roll, and ECN2 chemistry doesn't last as long as C41.
obviously though homebrew would be a lot of fun, and vision3 developed in ECN2 has a beautiful lower contrast look

>>4024067>>4024184ah that's great guys thanks so much for the info. i was doing some reading on photrio and the fellas there said something about colour casts being caused by using acetic instead of sulphuric so I was worried about trying to replace it.
also any sulphuric acid concentration higher than 15% is illegal in the uk lol.
by the way, the bleach recipe I found required you to add sulphuric acid to adjust the pH so it's around 6.5 (+/- 0.5) - can this pH adjustment be done fine with acetic acid?
