Does anybody care about the Sigma 30mm 2.8 anymore? Amazing lens. Great general-purpose replacement for the kit lens.

Here you go. The "Art" lens that was smaller than the Contemporary lens.

Alright so I'm upgrading from the kit lens on my NEX-6 (which won't focus for whatever reason). I'm like 99% sure to buy the Sigma 30mm f2.8 because i found that it was the most useful focal length and the price/quality seems hard to beat, but the Sony 50mm f1.8 is about the same price. Should I consider getting the Sony for that extra f stop or is 50mm too narrow on an APS-C camera for everyday use?
