Those are not the arguments I'm making.
The argument I'm making is that cellphones are close enough in image quality to COMPACT (i.e., 1/2.5", 1/1.7", and even 2/3") digital cameras that basically no one is buying them anymore. Given that Canon and Nikon had been relying on those revenue streams, the fact that they've basically completely evaporated is a big deal.
