>>4311591Shows and meets are probably the most difficult environment to do car photography because there's so much that's out of your control. It's hectic with people moving around all over the place, cars are often packed tightly together, they're in a shitty ugly parking lot, etc.
If you can get a good shot of a car that's great but that probably shouldn't be your priority. Shows/meets are often a big compromise so try looking for good detail shots or scenes you can capture featuring a car instead of trying to just "shoot car".
Oh also get a cpl if you want to do this regularly. Cars and bikes are essentially giant mirrors and that filter will be your best friend in controlling reflections of the paint and glass.
