Most of /p/ should have a proper viewing medium anyway. Now, if you've ever jumped from a subpar monitor to a half-decent one (or worse, your main broke and had to use a shitty spare), probably one of the first things you noticed was <<more contrast>>. So much more that your previous edits will need re-editing (prints-chads need not apply).
Pertaining to digitally consuming visual art, how can you ensure that the best experience is had by all people in your audience? Probably all have different monitors, with different calibrations. And this is without even counting phonefags and dpi. How do you ensure that the photographic experience you are offering is coherent enough for everyone?
