I put bits of white electrical tape the height of a 35mm roll just off the focusing screen on both sides for basic orientation.

Got some 3d printing hobbyist to make the adapters, paid for it dearly and isn't all that great but works.
Especially the take up spool is very so so, I just recently figured its better to just get 2 sets of the roll holders, and pry open an used 35mm casing, take the film holder inside and cut a slot for the film to grab into.
Ends up being much smoother, since the printed take up spool has very rough inside edges and the film sometimes struggles to roll onto it nicely.
