I generally print my favorite shots and I've never seen any amount of slight cast in the skies having any detriment to any of the prints
As for the composition its not really just the pylons that I shoot for. One of the main themes I was thinking about for all of these shots was trying to choose central elements to ground the scene itself around. That being said I've definitely tried what you've suggested by having these pylons take up a majority of the image and one of the things I'd really like to work on is practicing using narrow field of view to scenes like that
