Getting it right in camera is the right idea. Though, to get to this point, I went through extensive editing phase. I think that it benefited me a lot, you can't just shoot sooc without knowing what camera does to get that shot in the first place, and it's always beneficial to know what colors go well together. You can fix and improve shots a lot in post, but it's better, more beneficial, and more fun doing all of that on the scene. Or by properly executing shot in camera, so you don't have to fiddle too much behind computer.
