>>3212976You'd still expect the bigger, more optical elements western SLR lens to perform overall better, with superior corner sharpness due to being designed for a bigger image area etc. Maybe it's something about the image projection angle vs digisensor /w bayer filter thickness and whatnot, but this tamron is straight up blurry towards the edges, in an image-ruining way, regardless of how much I stop it down. It's only better at 2.8, but almost immidieately loses any advantage over the industar. Really really weird.
Oh well, less carry weight/bulk for me.
