Still trying to figure out what makes a good B&W photo, and how to get results I like in photoshop. I usually just drop the saturation to 0 then play around with exposure, highlights, the blacks slider, and the whites slider in the raw editing window. I'm sure that's not the proper way though.
But fundamentally, what makes a good B&W image? Or what makes one bad?
