>>4145428Plenty of pros using outdated low-res APS-C bayer as well, MFT pocket cameras, etc. There are vogue cover shots done with <12mp canon FF and equally old lenses, and large budget shows and films shot almost exclusively on soft vintage glass as a creative decision (and to spare the audience the pores on the ladies faces). Photographers are more criticial of image quality than the people they sell to and worry too much about out of studio situations auto ISO with a target shutter speed is used.
The color issue is 100% a post processing difference. No camera is going to be shitting out better color reproduction because of a magic sensor. All of them will need manually corrected raws if you want to sperg out about matching real life colors, but fuji's SOOC jpeg profiles are slightly better graded instead of trying too hard to "pop".
>40mp x-trans is definitely more detailed than my 30mp ff bayer in print.DSLR? This is like saying your car is faster than your motorcycle. I defer to the pixel peeping pros. 40mp fuji came out ever so slightly softer than a 33mp full frame. The lenses used should be about as sharp as each other, and the colors are pretty similar. I switched it to the snoy R-IV for laughs and it got very slightly sharper.
Verdict: unless you are printing full size 300-600dpi AND standing 6 inches away it doesn't matter (but these cameras can be found for about the same price if you know how not to get fucked)
