The R5 is a bit cleaner in stills. To be fair, I don't have a direct comparison between both at 51k and 100k for video. But I doubt the Sony would be cleaner in video yet worse in stills, at least not at over sampled frame rates.
If you need to shoot video at extreme ISOs you don't need 8k. You're not recording 8k or even 4k worth of resolution at such high ISOs. The R6 is even cleaner than the R5 and can shoot under bright moonlight with an f/1.4 prime.
Most people don't need this at all and would be looking at other things like AF, IBIS, and color science for their video camera. This isn't to knock the A1. It's a very capable camera. Just to point out that a manufacturer declaring a high ISO as "native" or "expanded" does not determine the best cinema camera.
