i tried keeping bugs but ive found it too demanding, so instead i plant a lot of flowers for spring and such~~~ ive found that yarrow and borage attract the coolest insects~~
another really good plant for attracting hoverflys and ichenuemon wasps is cannabis, since theres so many catterpillars and afids
last few years ive been planting lots of sunflowers too just to attract burrowing bees to make a nest in them cause i really want to get a pic of the semi developed larvae, but still year after year it frosts before the burrowing bees even get a chance to build a nest in the sunflower stalks
