It looks like you're taking the "never put stuff in the center" thing too seriously. The point of that is not to always de-center the main subject(s), but instead to remind brainlets that it's possible to place the main subject in other places than wherever the AF reticle or manual focusing patch happens to be in the viewfinder, which is generally in the middle.
Because you posted only 2 pictures, it's hard to really give critique. There aren't upvotes or anything like that here, so "rate me" doesn't really make sense. Post more pictures if you're going to make a new thread so people can get an idea of what you're doing.
You do have more pictures from this shoot other than these two, right?
