>>3713869that's what i thought but it's actually a CMOS. but yeah, old CCD sensors could produce some seriously good images. i borrowed a nikon d80 from a friend a few years ago back when i was a canon 6d user, some sooc jpegs had much better and more natural colors than the 6d. pentax had 10mp kodak CCDs in their early dslrs, i'll get one and try it out
