>>4010353Seagulls are cool because it's easy to shoot them doing neat stuff like fighting or stealing food or harassing people. They're charismatic. I also have a rarer birb though. A Western Snowy Plover, a fragile little bird whose coastal populations have fallen precipitously because of human encroachment; this local population is ~150 individuals (about 8% of the coastal population in the entire state) and this beach is one of the best places to see some up close. Sorry for the shit quality but at this point the light was basically gone, it was moving around so I had to use a faster shutter speed than I'd have liked and I don't have an actual telephoto lens so shooting them in daylight is hard.
