it's fine for me. i think the main appeal of "travel cameras" like the x100t is not so much the weight and size, but more the ease of use and simplicity. i think thats what is appealing to people more than anything. And Fuji have marketed it really well.
But in reality you can get the same ease of use and simplicity from a fullframe DSLR.
Just only take one lens. A fast prime. Put a UV filter on it. Put it on P or aperture priority. Job done. It's as simple to use as a point and shoot if you want it to be. I think even people who own DSLRs forget that they can be simple to use. Because they subconsciously associate their DSLR with more complex photographry and actions (longs exposure, changing lenses, tripods, shutter speeds etc etc).
Ok granted it's a bit bigger and a bit heavier but lets be real nobody is putting an xt100 in their pocket anyway unless they are wearing bernys baggys (remember those lmao?). So it's irrelevant. And if you're "traveling" it's almost a certainty you have a bag on you.
So yeah, I'd rather carry the marginal extra weight in return for having a fullframe censor and durable camera that i can just hang around my body and not worry about.
