well I finally got an M adapter that works after the replacement of the first one didn't fit either. different brand, this one is k&f concept. still a little tight but I was able to get it on without too much struggle so it's fine.
not sure how I feel about it though. it doesn't feel super balanced on the X-E4 because the lens is so heavy and zooming in to focus with the center joystick button is awkward. I may have to reevaluate my button choices if I intend to use this. anyway, gotta take it outside obviously but this is just a first impression.
