It's like a toyota vs an audi. Like if I were skiing off piste I wouldn't want anything not light and plastic. Sorry to throw you after deciding on the G1. I got mine with the 28 and 35 but only use the 35 (because 28mm sucks). I'm sure any prime you pick for that system is a winner. The 28 is dummy sharp, pic related on kodak gold with an economy scan.
