Look at Bliss side-by-side with your file.
Bliss isn't high contrast. It's well lit all around, the only real shadows are soft shadows from cloud cover. It's a natural looking image.
Regarding saturation it's simply drum scanned film, not artificially cranked saturation from a shitty Bayer CMOS sensor with interpolated color samples.
If you wanna capture Bliss style shots with nice colors you should look for a Foveon sensor to get decent color, get a tripod and scout for similar areas or as a general rule just aim for faithful rendering.
