How the hell do people know what they are doing when taking a photo on a film camera?
I've been fucking around with a DSLR for a few years now, and I started thinking about switching to film when I realized that there is no live view monitor on these things.
Do poeple memorize the desirable settings configuration? I mean, there are 3 variables of exposure (f, iso, shutter speed) for one thing and there is like gorrilion combinations with different outcomes.
Is it possible to precisely predict the outcome exposure based on these values?
Or do you just take like a 10 photos at once with some sort of value step and hope that one of them is bound to be good?
