You can push Portra 400 to 1600 and it'll look better than what Natura 1600 looked like. E6 film is a shame though. Fuji bringing back Provia 400X would be amazing as that too pushed to 1600 and looked better than the older Provia 1600.

It's weird you got a 6x9 camera and are now wondering if you should have bought a 6x6 camera. Shoulda let format drive your choices, not 'medium format' in general. Either way, it's probably just buyer's remorse. You'll probably love the camera.
