Not making their medium format a mirrorless back in 2014 was a massive oversight.
They had a 3 year head start on Fujifilm's 50S MF. But it was Fujifilm who ran with the victory and stole their market overnight.
And the reasons are pretty obvious as well. Pic related they could have owned the market if they hadn't insisted on OVF.
MF market was the place where they actually stood a decent chance, unlike the DSLR market which was flooded with D600, D750, D800, and 5Dm2, 5Dm3, 6D.
Their full frame efforts should have been on mirrorless as well, but this one is harder to blame them for, since nobody but Sony saw this coming.
