Hi /p/ I'm just getting back in to photography with an old 10mp ricoh grii. I'm relearning software and just trying to take my camera with my everywhere so that I get practice shooting. What can I improve from a technical or editing perspective?
Here is the best criticism I can provide, but take it with a grain of salt seeing as I'm not super experienced.
>>3067789The composition here isn't that interesting, nor is the subject matter. Cut out some of the sand at the bottom and it might be better, but taking pictures of toilets isn't really going to wow anyone.
>>3067838The top and bottoms of this frame don't do much, a tighter crop would improve this a lot.
>>3067840The guy would interesting if you included some of the action of him playing, but with the rest of the photo obscured, it's either cluttered if you don't crop or uninteresting if you do.
>>3067842I like this picture, but the entire right side of the subject is blown out, and the exit sign half way out from behind his head looks off to me.
>>3067847Honestly I'm a sucker for short focal lengths like this. I like the color and the haze of the background, but the other shit in the foreground is distracting. Your subject could also probably be more interesting, but I find this aesthetically pleasing if not super interesting.
>>3067854Subject cool, composition cool, but what the actual fuck did you do in post. This looks awful and I'm 100% sure that if you didn't edit it this way it would look better.
>>3067859Cat photo. Uninteresting, choose a better subject. Your framing is also boring.
>>3067863I like this, though it could be framed better. The highlights here work where you want them to, and I really appreciate how even though what the subject is looking at is partially blown out, it doesn't really hurt the image. If this is cropped maybe try taking it out a little bit and fucking around with it. If not, try standing further back to give the subject more space in the frame.
