I have a friend who's huge into film photography. He's a big traveller and has been all through Aftica, South America, Southeast Asia, Oceania, taking tens or hundreds of thousands of photos.
I was helping him pack up to move around the same time I was getting into film photography. I saw he had mountains of film in storage boxes and didn't think he'd notice if I pinched some to use. So I took like 40 rolls of film and stashed them in a drawer at home. Like a month later I realized they were all exposed rolls he put back in the boxes, from all his adventures. He's always about 8 years behind in developing all his film so who knows what era or continent these would have been from. I was so ashamed to tell him I stole his film that I threw them all away.
