I'd see if the local libraries/schools/universities had a scanner you could use. Alternatively try camera scanning if you have a digicam. I really recommend returning the v370 if scanning 35mm is your primary concern. Here's a v600 scan, its alright for web use, but I wouldn't want to make prints from it.
