After that, the raw profile (in lightroom: last tab drop down option) you use make more of a difference than the sensor itself. Adobe Standard is shit on a stick bad because it doesn't know your particular camera's color response.. Usually your camera will come with some that suck much less.
After that, I move over into photoshop because it's much better at handling our color and post process it carefully, with gamut warning still on.
At this point, it comes down to your personal ability.
