>>3322528>>3325444I scrapped the tincans and made a different barrel for the lens. I ditched the tillt-shift idea for lack of things to make it out of and because I came up with a slightly better solution for shifting. Since tilt isn't very noticeable with this lens, I decided on shifting the aperture placement using aperture inserts. I can get the same shift effects this way. I can also use any other type of aperture.
I can get the same photo quality as the previous setup or go for some more creative apertures to get special effects. I was able to find something suitable enough to use as a mount so the lens could be placed on my macro bellows. Now it gets infinity and down to around 1:1.44. Here's what it looks like now and the 1st test apertures.
