Thought I was gonna hate the damn thing and sell it for a profit; have been falling more in love with it the more I use it.
It's the best feeling camera I've ever operated, works so smoothly and seamlessly with one hand whether shooting portrait or landscape. Image quality and color rendition are self-explanatory. Out of focus rendering is beautiful. f/2 bokeh and its "macro" (not true macro but its definitely nice for getting close to objects) gives this cameras images a really unique feel. Noise on this camera is nearly non-existent until you go above 6400, even then it almost looks like film grain, its quite pleasant until you hit 25600.
The only thing critically wrong with this thing is its focus ring. I think I may attempt to replace the ring altogether so I can make use of prefocusing, but I'm afraid of fucking this camera's shit up.
Everybody complains about the AF and I don't see the issue. AF is above average, I haven't missed focus yet and the only compact that I know of that beats it in terms of speed is the x100t. People just need to learn how contrast detection works.
