>>4272397>can still see some smaller pen strokes on the z6, not the r6Is this the forced NR showing itself, different moire from slightly different camera/scene alignment, or an artifact of the random nature of noise?
>Z7II and R5 look basically the same but you can still see a tiny bit of extra texture a tiny bet clearerHmmm yeah
it could just be a difference between how ACR demosaics dual pixel raws and on sensor PDAF raws. This isn't exactly real science. It's exposure normalized with manual settings with different brands that use different standards and different lenses with different T stops, using one notoriously bad program, not comparing results with different programs. Fucking SOOC jpegs are more scientific. He let's bring on an even dumber torture test
Also, remember, to use 40fps on canon you have to shoot a 12 bit raw which does affect DR in stupid extreme scenarios like this. But dpreview didn't test e-shutter 12 bit raws for nikon or sony (lossy). Weird! Are they hiding something? No they're just lazy. Dont look at the test images, look at the testing discrepancies that could explain the differences without mentioning camera performance!
Fuck dpreview don't use this trash. Every modern camera is close enough (except for sony), stop caring!
