>>3852193It's not a pocket camera but it's ideal for slipping into a laptop bag or backpack that you're already carrying for whatever reason. I had a first gen X100 when I was in college and it was perfect for carrying around in my backpack all the time, much better performance than the Panasonic m4/3 + 20mm pancake I was carrying previously and way less bulky than even the smallest setup possible with my FF Nikon setup.
I ended up liking it so much that I traded it AND my whole Nikon setup in on a full Fuji rig, but in retrospect I wish I'd kept the X100, that first-gen Fuji sensor was really nice as long as you weren't asking it to go above 1600 ISO or so and my X-Pro2 setup is nowhere near as easy to carry around.
