>>3500930Usually, every additional stop in regards to speed goes along with flaws in regards to other lens qualities. Either, lens design is adjusted and flaws are corrected (as good as possible), or the flaws are visible in the photos. The latter is clearly the cheaper way.
My advice is to look for photos shot with these lenses wide open and see which results you prefer. Then decide if you really need the additional stop.
