honestly i can hardly tell the difference between tri-x, hp5+, fomapan, kentmere... all of the 400 speed films come out looking pretty much the same to me. you can jerk off looking at graphs of mid tone curves i guess, but i think once you've tweaked it or enlarged it the way you want, its all the fucking same shit.
call me retarded but im pretty fucking sure that the real difference in your results is in the exposure and subsequent pushing/pulling, the developer solution, the dilution... and the fact that you took a picture of some shit with a wide range of tones
