>>3458723Camera: Nikon D3400
Lens: Reversed Tamron 12.5-75mm f/1.8 TV lens with DIY lens hood lined with flocking
F-stop: f/8
Focus: maxed to close as possible
Focal Length: 12.5mm
Flash: On camera with flash tube reflector to subject.
Working distance: 20mm
Magnification: 7.16:1
Subject: Unknown moth species.
Focus Stack: 9 images
Notes: This lens does not like bright reflective objects downrange and produces a big purple dot flare dead center in images like this one. Sometimes it can be removed in post, most times not well. The lens hood helps, but not when there's so much reflective stuff downrange like the reflective surface in this image.
The image in the OP is the same setup & subject, but without a bright reflective surface downrange, so no lens flare, and it is a single image not a focus stack.
