Everyone has lots of opinions here and I encourage you to talk to experts. My wedding photographer used a 5d mk 3 and also Carrie’s a 6D and an m50 for backups. She recommends both

I know the feeling and that’s why I forced myself out alone this weekend and I had a great time. Walked around, grabbed a beer alone at a brewery, kept walking and snapping. Give it a shot I think you’ll enjoy it more than you expect.
