>>3372157Weigh the camera down a little to make sure it isn't moving even a tiny bit. For the contrast, try using a lens hood, even if you are aiming it towards light. A felt-lined/flocked lens hood that is as long as you can get for that focal length/AOV is best. These two things can help a great deal sometimes. After that, you can try some exposure bracketing by taking more photos at faster exposures without the ND filter then in an image editor combine them. You'll be able to get more information for editing in something like CameraRaw, masks/layers, or whatever you use. If you can't get back some contrast with any of that then I don't know how to help you.
