Yeah, I get you. I think it would be neat to be there and experience them but the pictures of them dont really do much for me.
I believe this Daido shot was taken during the student protests in the 60s and 70s, obviously we wouldnt know what the message of the protests was from just seeing this but it invokes so much more emotion. Id rather see more stuff like this than regular documentation.

He has some great photos (pic related) but overall most fine art photographers are overrated.

Thats because you dont understand the essence of photography and dont have any creativity.
All you care about is stupid meaningless numbers like exposure.

You can have a perfectly technical good photo and it could still be horrible.
If all that counted was exposure then everyone with a good smartphone would be a pro photographer.
