The camera itself, since it's from the moisty and humid Japan, smells like an old attic or basement and not even keeping the camera submerged in baking soda was able to neutralize the smell. I tried to also rub lemon juice all over it and it still smells like wet ass. It makes the handling of the camera so not nice and I really don't want to take it out with me.
Secondly I bought the 06 from like a chinese refurbish plant so I'm not sure if the lens is even original or what. The zoom works ok, but the focus ring turn with the slight breeze of someone's breath and it's a nightmare to handle. I do enjoy the small form factor thought and might look into some other similar long focal length in a small package deals and it's sickening me to finally consider micro 4 losers. Might just get a Q7 instead.
The camera wants me to input date and time every freaking time I turn it on and don't know how to fix this.
I set the camera to RAW+JPEG but somehow only JPEGs are being stored. Not sure what's happening here.
The stab is ass. Seriously. It's like this shit doesn't work at all.
I regret not getting it locally, but I'd have to pay close to triple the price here than what I paid by importing it.
Will try to get it out again next weekend, if the thread is still up by then. In the meantime enjoy some swans.
