>>3091045>>3091046>>3091057The body is stronger and uses better materials, it has a faster max shutter speed, it has tons of accessories (you can change prisms for example), battery only needed for the meter (the ae-1 defaults to 1/60th shutter speed when there's no battery). In short, the AE-1 was the consumer camera, the F-1 was the top dog. The one I have is the original, mechanical F-1. I've attached my email if you're keen.
