I'd check out the Pentax K-3 or K-3 II (II has astrotracer built in and pixel shift but no on board flash)

The ergonomics (for me) are great, and the menu system lets you tweak and customize everything
Really glad I went with the K-3 instead of a D7100 or similar offering from canikon.
You can probably pick one up used for 400 bucks or less
