no im not talking about technique only
im talking about this "being a weird isolated depressed subject in your own self portraits" style

and they're both doing extra edgy shit in the context to their time period. but Robert's work really fucking stands out in terms of composition, expressions, pushing boundaries, exploring masculinity, male sexuality and himself etc. his influence is clearly showing in her photos.
